William did a tremendous job shooting my promotion ceremony. He arrived for the planning meeting and walkthrough early, was very attentive to my intentions and thoughts, and offered a number of great suggestions and improvements in advance.
He again arrived ahead of time on ceremony day, and without being asked assisted with setup and placement with the eye of an expert photographer. He and his assistant captured every moment perfectly, and his attention to framing, leading lines, use of zoom and focus, and more set him far above the casual smartphone shots you usually see of these occasions. Truly some phenomenal photos worthy of framing.
I'm very glad we went with him for the event, and I'm certain you won't be disappointed with his work.

Whetstone Photography took my fiancé and I's engagement photos and we couldn't be happier. They took the time to go to the spot of the proposal the weekend before and ensure the best shot was captured. The day of, they brought a broom hours before and got all of the clutter out of the way of the fountain. 5/5 recommend if you want someone who is going to go the extra mile to ensure your moments are captured whether it is a LinkedIn headshot or your proposal!

Will & his partner shot our engagement photos this past weekend. Since he also shot our proposal photos, we knew we could trust him, but even then, our expectations have been exceeded.
The shoot itself was a blast. We had such a fun time playing around with different locations in the more urban parts of SA. He had done a thorough scouting of locations beforehand, so we didn’t waste any time trying to find the best spots. He and Melissa made us feel like we were just hanging out together for a shoot on the weekend. The hours went by so quickly for us, but they also were incredibly patient with outfit changes and us not being able to stop laughing a couple of times.
We received several of our proofs and even a few fully completed photos within 24 hours of the shoot. Will knew that we were on a time crunch to get our save the dates out, and it was apparent that that was important to him as well, which we appreciate so much.
Overall we could not be happier with Will and his work, and we cannot recommend him highly enough!

Alex was so awesome for our family Christmas card photo shoot! He listened to what I was looking for, then, delivered beyond my expectations. He was great with my little boys and my crazy pup.
